The stronger the portfolio, the stronger the chances of winning - no matter the numbers of entries received. ONLY APPLICANTS WHO MEET THE QUALIFICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED. Judge's decision is final. 13) Q: What do you mean by "Variety?" A: Variety means: a strong range in subject matter, media used, drawing styles and techniques. For example, try not to submit all 10 pieces as Anime/Manga artwork. Instead, choose the top 4-5 pieces to show your strength, and the rest will show your variety: realistic animals/people sketches, cartoons/comics in different styles, and some fine art done in different media. 14) Q: Can I email my application form and my artwork to you instead of mailing it to you? A: Due to the large amount of incoming email, all applicants should have their teachers mail their application forms and their artwork in an envelope with their name and addresses clearly labeled before the deadline.
